Eldi Çondi has been serving as Chief of Staff to the Minister of Finance since August 1, 2024.
Mr. Çondi holds a dual degree in Business Administration from the University of New York Tirana and the State University of New York, Empire State College.
He began his professional career in 2006 with a global telecommunications company operating in Albania, where he worked for nearly 13 years, gaining extensive experience in strategic management, operations, and corporate leadership. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of a local retail and distribution company for two years, overseeing business development, operational efficiency, and growth initiatives.
In the public sector, Mr. Çondi has held several senior leadership roles. He served as Executive Director of the Technical Secretariat of the National Economic Council, where he coordinated economic policy initiatives and supported inter-ministerial decision-making processes. He was also Chief of Staff to the Minister of State for Entrepreneurship Protection, leading initiatives to foster entrepreneurship and streamline regulatory frameworks. Additionally, he served as Economic Advisor to the Deputy Prime Minister.
Throughout his career, Mr. Çondi has demonstrated a strong commitment to public service, combining expertise from both the private and public sectors to advance economic development and governance in Albania.
Mr. Çondi is married and has one son.
